The moon was so incredibly bright even though from where I stood it didn’t actually look much bigger. Taking pictures of the moon itself proved to be much trickier than I expected given the moons super shine and the thin clouds that hovered around it giving it an extra boost of light. Having the super bright moon really helped in taking some great photo’s of the stars and night sky, though, since it offered more than enough lighting for the rest of the sky!
This was shot with an ISO of 100, f/29, 13 seconds of exposure time and it’s still shining on!
I brightened this up to point out the little rainbow the moon was giving off. This was specifically shot to show the rainbow, this is not a pretty reflection from the lens!
The clouds were moving so quickly they look like cotton candy!
While playing with all of the camera functions to get the *best* moon shot I accidentally made it too bright, but the outcome was so pretty I had to share 🙂
